Since 2013 we have worked closely with the John Fawcett Foundation to help give back the gift of sight to those who otherwise can’t see. 
Those living in Flores have very poor access to ophthalmologists or optometrists. Generally, only the very few who can afford to, travel to bigger cities (e.g. Ende, Kupang, Denpassar ) for eye assessment and treatment.
